Last weekend, Intermediate Division Officer cadets from Birmingham UOTC took part in their third field weekend of the training year. Following preparation of orders, OCdts conducted a series of platoon advance to contacts, looked at low level tactics, numerous CASEVACs and an ambush in the early hours of Sunday morning. EUOTC Storm the Cateran Yomp Two teams from Exeter UOTC took part in the Cateran Yomp last weekend in Blairgowrie, Scotland, raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund. The gruelling 54 mile trek is conducted on the Cateran Trail, around the clock over a 24 hour period. The two teams: Norfolk’n Chance and Dashing EUOTC White Sergeants finished the entire 54 mile course in 22:43.30 and 23:24.59 respectively and received gold medals, a great achievement. #JoinEUOTC | British Army University Office
