The aunt of a former Kentucky sheriff facing murder charges after shooting a judge in 2024 spoke in court about his mental state ahead of the killing.
Shawn Stines, the ex-Letcher County sheriff accused of shooting Judge Kevin Mullins to death in 2024, is set to appear in court on Friday morning in Leslie County for a status hearing in the case.
"We can bring this circus back to town and try and do this – you'll just end up having to go to another venue eventually," the Letcher County Attorney said.
